Surprising services included with your health insurance plan

Learn more about them

This article was last updated on June 27, 2022.

When you enroll in an individual or employer-sponsored health insurance plan, you most likely pay a monthly premium for your coverage. This premium helps pay for your medical care, but that’s not all it gives you access to. Most health insurance plans come with many other benefits at no extra cost to you.

Many of these extras help you manage your health and well-being, track your health care expenses, find and receive quality care within your health plan network, get exclusive deals on health and fitness products, save on prescription drugs, and much more.

If you have a Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield health plan, here are some of the additional benefits and services that may be included with your enrollment.
