Rx Savings Advisor
When it comes to ever-rising drug prices, we’ve got your back with the Rx Savings Advisor. As long as prescription drug coverage is included with your Wellmark health insurance plan, you can sign up with CVS Caremark® through your myWellmark account. Once you're signed up, you’ll be automatically notified when you’re taking a medication that has a savings opportunity of $10 or more. Savings opportunities can include switching from a 30- to 90-day supply, making a therapeutic substitution, or switching from retail pharmacy to mail order. The best part? It’s all automatic. You just present the savings opportunities to your provider and discuss the best option for you.
Blue Distinction Centers
You and your family deserve the best, especially when it comes to receiving specialized care like surgery or a transplant. That’s why we offer Blue Distinction® Centers (BDCs) in 11 areas of specialty care that have a proven history of delivering exceptional care and results. Overall, patients who use BDCs experience fewer complications, lower re-admission rates and higher survival rates. You can see if facilities near you have the BDC designation by logging in to myWellmark. There may also be BDC requirements specific to your plan, so talk to your doctor, review your coverage manual, and check your plan details.

The program provides trusted and helpful online resources for every stage of pregnancy and beyond and helps connect you with an Advanced Care nurse if you’re at a higher risk for complications.
