Q: What are my health insurance benefits?
A: Your health benefits go beyond coverage for provider visits. They also include the medical services and prescription drugs covered under your plan, your provider network, healthy living and care support programs, customer service and your myWellmark® member portal. When you understand your benefits, you can better understand costs, find the right care and avoid surprises.

With myWellmark, you can access your benefits, track your spending and find care without switching tabs or leaving the app. Log in to get more from your plan.
Q: Where can I find my benefit information?
A: Your Summary of Benefits and Coverage and your Coverage Manual will have the most complete view of your benefits. For most plans, you can find these on Wellmark.com or get a more personalized experience by logging in to myWellmark. If you get your health insurance through an employer and are unable to access coverage documents on Wellmark.com or myWellmark, reach out to your benefits administrator.
You’ll also receive an explanation of benefits (EOB) every time you receive care. This document explains how your benefits covered specific care or services you received. Reading your EOB is a great way to see what your plan paid and why — so you know exactly how your health insurance benefits were applied to your care. EOBs are stored for up to 24 months on myWellmark.
