Plan N offers broad coverage at a lower premium than other Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plan options Wellmark offers.
Plan N covers 100 percent of:
- Basic benefits, including hospitalization, medical expenses, hospice care
- Coinsurance for a stay in a skilled nursing facility
- Your Part A deductible of $1,736
- Emergency care outside of the United States
Plan N does not cover:
- Your Part B deductible of $283, office visit copays (up to $20) and emergency room copays (up to $50)
- Medical Part B excess charges when a provider charges over the Medicare-approved amount
