When do I get a new card?

There are a few different reasons you might get a new card. They include:

1. The first time you enroll in (get) a new plan
2. You’ve legally changed your name
3. You switched to a different health plan

Is there an electronic ID card available?

Yes! No need to wait for it to come in the mail. You can begin using your ID card as soon as your plan starts, and you can access your card online by logging in to myWellmark. You may want to check with your health care provider to make sure they accept digital cards.

Can I add my ID card to my electronic wallet?

If you'd like to add your ID card to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, you can do so via the myWellmark app.

Note: Digital wallet ID cards do not update automatically. Be sure to upload a new ID card in the event your plan or policyholder details change.

How many physical cards will I receive?

If there is a single member on the policy, the policyholder will receive one card.

If there are two or more members, the policyholder will receive only two cards regardless of how many members are covered on the plan.

Whose name is printed on the card?

ID cards list the policyholder's name only. Covered family members do not receive cards with their own name.

Note: Your digital card on myWellmark will not necessarily match your printed card. You’ll find more information on your digital card, including in- and out-of-network copays, deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums.

How do I order another card?

You have three simple options for ordering a new ID card:

• Order, email or print your ID card using myWellmark or your digital wallet.
• Don’t have a myWellmark account? You can provide your information and order online.
• If you would like assistance and get health insurance through your employer, contact your HR department.
