You’ll have access to an extensive network of Delta Dental® dentists. Get preventive coverage for cleanings, exams and X-rays. And on most plans, comprehensive coverage for things like fillings, crowns, root canals, bridges, dentures and more.

Coverage when you travel
Travel the country knowing you’ll have coverage if you need it. Wellmark’s Blue Medicare Advantage PPO plans let you visit any doctor or hospital in the Blues National Network. If you visit an in-network doctor or hospital, you’ll pay in-network rates. You can still visit an out-of-network doctor or hospital, but you may pay a higher cost-share.
Traveling internationally? All Wellmark Medicare Advantage plans offer emergency coverage worldwide.
Vision coverage
Your Medicare Advantage vision coverage will include a $0 copay for a routine eye exam once a year.
Plus, for a $0 copay, you get full coverage for single vision, lined bifocal, lined trifocal, lenticular or standard progressive lenses every year. You’ll also have an allowance for elective contact lenses or eyeglass frames every 12 months. You’ll pay any charges above the plan’s allowance.
Your vision benefit offers access to a large national network of providers, including chains like Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco and Visionworks.

You can use out-of-network providers, but you will be responsible for costs above the plan’s approved amounts. You may also pay a copay for your exam.
Access to a nurse 24/7
Talk to a registered nurse any time — day or night. If you have questions about your symptoms or need guidance after a doctor’s recommendation, the Wellmark Nurse Advice team will be able to help, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Doctor On Demand® virtual visits
See board-certified providers online from anywhere with Doctor On Demand. This is a $0 benefit. Providers can treat a variety of minor ailments and prescribe medications if needed. Doctor On Demand also gives you access to psychiatrists, psychologists and therapists for mental health concerns.
Rewards for healthy living
Live Healthy BlueSM, designed exclusively for Medicare Advantage members, is a program offering personalized recommendations and tools to track your healthy activity through the year and reward you for it! Plus, you’ll get access to an extensive library of articles, videos, decision aids and tools.
Emergency call button through NationsResponse®

This system is available with Blue Medicare Advantage Enhanced PPO and Valor plans for a $0 copay. Reminder: Blue Medicare Advantage PPOand Classic plans don’t include this benefit.
Preventive care
Blue Medicare Advantage covers preventive services to help keep you healthy, like exams, vaccines, lab tests, screenings and more. Schedule an annual wellness visit at the start of the year to create a personalized prevention plan with your provider.
