Pay your bill online
Online bill pay makes it easy to view your billing statements, schedule payments
and manage your account — all in one place.
Note: Only members with an individual plan can pay their premium online. That includes members with an individual and family, Medicare Supplement, COBRA, Farm Bureau Health Plan, or Exchange health plan. Online bill pay is not available to members who get their health insurance through their employer.
Set up your myWellmark® account to pay online
Enroll to pay your premium online. Simply log in or register for myWellmark and visit the My Plans page to get started. See the detailed instructions to learn more.
Enrolling in online bill pay through myWellmark is the simplest way to make sure we receive your payment in a timely manner. Third-party payment services or websites are not recommended. Just follow these steps:
- Log in to myWellmark — or register if you haven't already — and navigate to the My Plans page.
- Find the Pay Your Premium box on the right-hand side and click Go to Billing to be automatically directed to the billing website (Alacriti).
- On the billing site, click the Payments tab at the top of the screen.
- Save a bank account for future payments by clicking Setup AutoPay. If you have already saved a bank account, skip to the steps for setting up Autopay.
- A red text box will appear indicating a funding source is needed. Select the Manage Funding Sources option.
- Next, click the Add Bank Account button and enter the bank information you will be using for your payments. You will need your account type, routing number and account number.
- The next screen will ask you to review and confirm the information. Once you confirm, you will receive a message stating the account information was added successfully.
Now, you're all set! Next, set up AutoPay.
Pay your premium automatically from your checking or savings account. Set up AutoPay any time and never worry about being late or missing a payment. Follow these steps:
- Log in to myWellmark.
- Find the Pay Your Premium box on the right-hand side and click Go to Billing to be automatically directed to the billing website (Alacriti).
- Under the Payments tab, select Set up AutoPay.
- Enter the required information under the Enter Information section. You will need to select your funding account number and payment amount option. Click continue.
- Review the data on the screen. If correct, click Confirm. You will receive a confirmation number for the autopayment setup. Please keep this for your records.
- Once you review the confirmation number, you can go to the Account Summary tab to see the autopayment setup.
Paper statements
Once all AutoPay steps are complete, your paper statements will automatically be stopped.
A binder payment is the first payment due for a plan you’ve purchased through the Health Insurance Marketplace. Your enrollment can’t be completed until your payment is received.
You can pay your binder payment online. You will need your Exchange Subscriber ID and Policy ID, which are located on the bottom of your Wellmark payment request letter you received soon after enrolling. If you don’t have this information, contact your agent or call Wellmark Customer Service at 800-524-9242.
Make your binder payment Secure Site
Binder payments are due on or before your coverage effective date and no later than 30 days after you’ve enrolled. If your coverage is canceled for not making the binder payment, you must re-enroll in coverage through Healthcare.gov External Site.
