Kris DeGraff

Vice President, Operations | Wellmark

Kris DeGraff joined Wellmark in 2004 and currently serves as vice president, Operations for Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Her leadership responsibilities include membership and enrollment, claims administration, learning and development, quality assurance, operations compliance, Inter-Plan Programs/BlueCard®, customer care team, and South Dakota operations.

Kris has more than 25 years of experience in health insurance, training, and leading teams in operations. Kris served as BlueCard Executive and director of Operations for Wellmark. As the BlueCard Executive, Kris was responsible for acting as the liaison between partner Blue Plans, as well as the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. Before joining Wellmark, she held various operations positions at CIGNA Health Care.

Kris received her Bachelor of Science degree in human resource management from Upper Iowa University.
