Initial setup
  • The organization name entered must be the organization's legal name and match Wellmark's main system exactly.
  • The main DSC must use an email address that can exchange email messages with Wellmark.
  • All users, including the DSC, must not allow others to use their own User ID and/or password.
  • For the best experience, main DSC users should give themselves access to all available user roles.
  • There may be only one registration per group number.
Ongoing requirements
  • There can be multiple users with the DSC role, but only one MAIN DSC.
  • All organizations MUST have one, and only one, main DSC user role at all times to have access to Employer Connection.
  • The main DSC MUST log in every 90 days to keep the organization active.
  • The main DSC will also be asked to verify their email address every 60 days to keep the organization active and is responsible for verifying that all users have the correct access.
  • The main DSC is responsible for providing access, creating all user accounts and indicating which users have personal health information (PHI) access.
  • Users with the DSC role will be able to assist the main DSC.
  • The main DSC can reassign this role to another user.
Getting assistance
  • If the main DSC leaves before giving another user this role, the organization can contact WebSecurity@Wellmark.com for assistance.
  • If the group's Wellmark coverage is cancelled for any reason, the organization will need to re-register for access to Employer Connection.
  • The exact answer to your secret question is critical for getting assistance from Web Security. Without this information, Wellmark will not be able to process some change requests.
