Membership and Participation
All you need to do is register and complete a profile survey. If qualified, you will receive an email with an invitation each time we are running a study or research project.
We hope you'll participate whenever you receive an invitation, because that's the best way to ensure that your opinions are heard. We realize that's not always possible, so there is no requirement that you participate every time.
We ask questions about your demographics and relationship with Wellmark to help us understand general trends and overall makeup of our Advisory Council. This information is used to conduct statistical analyses so that we can ensure that our sample of members is representative. We also use this information to engage you in discussions that correspond to your interests. We do not make individual changes to policies or premiums based on one panelist's responses. When it comes to analyzing the data we receive from Blue Collaboration, we look only at the group, not at individuals.
We try to keep the surveys to a maximum of 5-10 minutes. This time may vary depending on the speed of your Internet connection, browser or study type. Discussion groups (like focus groups) can range from 30 minutes to an hour.
Typically you will have between 2-5 days to complete the short surveys (under 10 minutes). When we have online discussions, we will send you email invitations to check your availability 7-10 days in advance of the one-hour, web-based meeting/conference call.
You may remain in the Advisory Council as long as you choose to participate in activities each year. Members may remove themselves from the Advisory Council by sending an email request to Blue Collaboration's Help Desk.
