- 2 limes, thinly sliced
- 8 mint leaves, smacked
- 8 cups water
Combine ingredients in large pitcher.
What do you mean, smacked? To release the flavor of mint, place a few leaves in a single layer on one palm, and “clap,” “smack” or “slap” them with your other hand. Smacking the herb releases the aroma. You can also “smack” rosemary, lavender, basil and sage to release the flavor.
Pour into glasses and serve immediately, over ice. Use limes for garnish.
