Warm skillet peaches with Greek yogurt
This simple dessert spotlights fruit commonly available in the summer months and comes together quickly with just a few ingredients.
Yield
4 servings
Ingredients
- 4 medium ripe peaches, sliced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup plain low‑fat Greek yogurt
Ingredient swaps:
Frozen or canned peaches (drained) may be also used. Apples, pears or berries also work well depending on availability.
Cook
- Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced peaches and cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened and lightly caramelized. If using frozen peaches, cook a few extra minutes to avoid excess liquid.
