Chocolate Cake in a Mug

Ingredients
- ¼ cup all purpose flour
- ⅛ teaspoon baking soda
- Dash of salt
- 3 tablespoons milk (or milk substitute)
- 1 tablespoon water
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons sugar (or sugar substitute)
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon canola oil (or 1½ tablespoons of plain, unsweetened applesauce)
Cook
Combine first five ingredients in a large microwave-safe mug or bowl; stir in milk, oil, water, and vanilla. Cook in microwave until cake is done in the middle, about 1 minute 45 seconds. If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar or chocolate chips.
