Chocolate Cake in a Mug

Quick & Easy 1 serving

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup all purpose flour
  • ⅛ teaspoon baking soda
  • Dash of salt
  • 3 tablespoons milk (or milk substitute)
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (or sugar substitute)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil (or 1½ tablespoons of plain, unsweetened applesauce)

Cook 

Combine first five ingredients in a large microwave-safe mug or bowl; stir in milk, oil, water, and vanilla. Cook in microwave until cake is done in the middle, about 1 minute 45 seconds. If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar or chocolate chips.
