As vice president of Sales and Retention, Dave Daniel drives sales, product development and retention efforts to sustain Wellmark's position as Iowa's most-trusted brand and top insurance carrier across all market segments.

With more than 30 years of experience in health insurance, Dave leverages this experience to deliver solutions for today's customers' diverse needs. He is the company's lead sales strategist, cultivating client relationships and building the company's internal sales teams and agent/consultant network in Iowa. He and his teams are responsible for providing strategic insight to new business development and client retention across all segments.

Dave graduated from Loras College with Bachelor of Arts degrees in finance and marketing. He also holds the following accreditations: Fellow, Life Management Institute, Health Insurance Associate, and Managed Healthcare Professional.
