Srivathsan (Sri) Pichai Vice President, Office of CIO

Sri Pichai joined Wellmark in 2013 as director in the Technology division to lead the multi-year transformation effort to implement a new shopping and enrollment platform and core administration system. In 2017, he was promoted to vice president, office of CIO. In this role, Sri is responsible for the strategic direction and leadership for enterprise portfolio planning and governance, large-scale transformation program and project execution, quality engineering, process excellence, technology risk and third-party risk management.

Prior to joining Wellmark, Sri was a senior associate at Booz & Company (now Strategy&) and consulted for national, regional, and integrated health delivery systems. His career also includes leading and managing large-scale enterprise application teams for Cognizant.

Sri received his master's degree in information systems management from Carnegie Mellon University and bachelor's degree in electronics and communication engineering from University of Madras, India.
