Blue Rx^SM Preferred

There are two Blue Rx Preferred options

• Blue Rx Preferred 3-Tier Plans

If you have "Blue Rx3 Preferred," you are enrolled in a three-tier plan. How much you pay for a prescription depends upon what tier the drug is in. The higher the tier number, the higher your copayment or coinsurance.

• Blue Rx Preferred

If you have "Blue Rx Preferred," you are enrolled in a two-tier plan. How much you pay for a prescription depends upon whether the drug is generic or brand name. Your lowest copayment or coinsurance is for generic drugs. Your higher copayment or coinsurance is for brand name drugs.
