A medical reimbursement
account allows employees to set aside part of their salary each pay
period pre-tax to pay for out-of-pocket
medical, dental, and vision expenses. The total amount an employee
elects for a medical reimbursement account is available any time during
the
year, even if the funds have not yet been withheld from his or her pay.
