Ebilling and Epayment Roles

The designated security coordinator can assign the following eBilling and ePayment roles to selected staff members. Assign only the roles you need based on your group's billing type (Fully Insured, Self Funded, or Flex). If you have questions about your group's billing type, please contact your broker or account manager. Please allow 24 hours for these roles to be activated.

 

Role Name Access
Assign these roles if your group is Fully Insured:
eBilling – Fully Insured View Only View access only – cannot make any payments
eBilling – Fully Insured Pay and View Can view and make payments
Assign these roles if your group is Self Funded:
eBilling – Self Funded View Only View access only – cannot make any payments or see reports with PHI on them
eBilling – Self Funded Pay and View Only Can view summary reports (no PHI) and make payments
eBilling – Self Funded PHI Can view Self Funded reports that have PHI. This role must accompany either the ebilling - Self Funded View Only role or the ebilling – Self Funded Pay and View Only role. 
Assign these roles if your group offers Flex through Wellmark:
eBilling – Flex View Only View access only – cannot make any payments
eBilling – Flex Pay and View Can view and make payments
