Mail Service

Walgreens Mail Service is Wellmark’s mail service provider.

Follow these steps when a Wellmark member asks to use Walgreens Mail Service.

• Write two prescriptions — one for a 30-day supply that can be filled immediately at a retail pharmacy and one for a 90-day supply that can be given to Walgreens Mail Service
• To help save on out-of-pocket costs, indicate if generic substitution is allowed
• To expedite the process, use the Fax Order Form for Iowa or South Dakota
• The Fax Order Form must be faxed to Walgreens Mail Service at 1-800-332-9581 from the doctor’s office
