More and more consumers are asking for cost and quality information to help them decide where to receive health care services.

Wellmark participates in the Blue Distinction Hospital Measurement and Improvement Program^SM, which gives providers quality data for hospitals that contract with The Blues^®. This tool provides greater detail on measures and is currently not available to members. You must be a registered wellmark.com user to use this tool.

Providers also have access to average treatment costs for the most common conditions and procedures among Wellmark members in Iowa, South Dakota, and other regions of the country.
