Health Maintenance Guidelines

Wellmark and its participating physicians worked together to develop these recommended schedules for health maintenance and disease prevention. The Health Maintenance Guidelines identify those preventive services that are essential to all low risk asymptomatic patients.

For additional information, you may also want to visit Put Prevention into Practice (PPIP), a national program established to improve delivery of appropriate clinical preventive services. PPIP materials are derived from the evidence-based recommendations of the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force.

Clinical Practice Guidelines

Clinical Practice Guidelines are evidence-based statements oriented around outpatient and primary care services, designed to support providers' decision making. The last review and/or revision date for each guide is shown in parentheses.
