Sloppy Joes
Ingredients
1/2 cup onion, chopped fine
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped fine
1 celery stalk, chopped fine
1 pound lean ground beef, 93% lean or more
1 jar (16 ounce) spaghetti sauce
6 whole wheat buns
Directions
Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat for 8-10 minutes.
Using a colander, strain the ground beef, rinse with cold water, and
pat dry. Return to skillet. Add the chopped onions, green pepper, celery,
and spaghetti sauce and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring
frequently. Turn heat to low and cook for approximately 10 minutes.
Spoon mixture onto bun and enjoy. Yields six servings.
