Contract Changes Webinar/Teleconference

If you are an experienced agent or a new agent to Wellmark, you will benefit by participating in one of Wellmark’s monthly Individual Under-65 contract changes webinar/teleconference training sessions. This session will help you understand what contract changes are available in the Individual Under-65 market, along with timeframes and paperwork that is required.

Please be sure to have a copy of your Individual Enrollment Under-65 manual with you.

Individual New Agent Training

Medicare Certification and Training

Wellmark is responsible for ensuring all agents selling MedicareBlue^SM Rx and MedicareBlue^SM PPO coverage follow the Medicare Marketing Guidelines as established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

MedicareBlue Rx and MedicareBlue PPO — Creditable Production
All agents must be certified (or re-certified) prior to October 1, 2007 to begin marketing and/or selling MedicareBlue Rx and MedicareBlue PPO products.

Taking the 2008 MedicareBlue Online Training Course

Wellmark will register each appointed agent and set-up their log in information. To take the course, each agent will need to log in to Brainshark and complete the following steps:

1. Complete online Brainshark "system check"
2. Access Brainshark to complete the online training
3. Log in
   • User Name: Agent’s National Producer Number (NPN)
   • Temporary Password: Wellmark + agent’s NPN (example: wellmark999999) all in lowercase letters
4. Change your password
5. Verify e-mail address
   • Click on My Profile
   • Verify and edit personal information
6. Complete course
7. Print certificate for your records

 Passing or Failing a Course

At the end of each training course, there will be a "Conclusion" slide. This slide tells you what your next step is.

• If you have met all required completion criteria, this course is now "Complete" and you will be able to access the next required course in your certification curriculum.
• If you have not met all required completion criteria, you must re-take this course.
• To close this course and return to your curriculum page, click the "X" in the top right corner of your window.
• Refresh your curriculum page to update your course status and follow the written instructions provided to you to either continue the certification or log out of the system.

Until you have completed all the courses, your "Current Enrollments" page will identify the Full or Recertification Curriculum for which you’ve been enrolled, and will show the status of all the courses in that curriculum. The curriculum will only move to the "Prior Enrollments" page upon full completion of all the required courses.

Small Group New Agent Training

All newly appointed agents are required to attend the Small Group New Agent training within 90 days of their appointment.

Spring Agent Training

Wellmark is pleased to offer an opportunity for agents to receive 3 hours of CE’s this spring. Topics will include:

• Individual Medical Underwriting and Blue Transitions
• Whole Health Dimensions
• Small Group Underwriting and Rating
