Secure E-Message

Non-Registered First-Time Recipients

If you have not registered to access Wellmark's BlueConnection® self-service tools, you may register to access secure e-messages from Wellmark.

Below are the steps you must take in order to register for Wellmark Secure E-Message. After you complete this one-time security measure, accessing your Wellmark Secure E-Message inbox is fast and secure.

1.	You receive an e-message notification in your personal e-mail inbox notifying you that you have a message from Wellmark in your Secure E-Message mailbox. Note: The word SecureMessage will appear at the beginning of the subject line.
2.	Select the hyperlink in your e-message notification. This will launch the Secure E-Message login page in your browser. Select the Register For a New Account link. A Wellmark Secure E-Message registration page will return in your browser window.
3.	Read the registration process information and select the Continue Secure E-Message Registration link. The Wellmark Secure E-Message Registration page will return in your browser window.
4.	Complete the registration form and select the OK button when finished. A confirmation page will return in your browser window. Verify the information on the page. If ... Then ... The information is correct, Select the OK button to proceed. The information is NOT correct, Select the change button. The registration page will return in your browser window. Make the necessary changes and select the OK button.
5.	Read the Secure E-Message Registration Complete page. Select the Close Window link when finished.
6.	Return to your personal e-mail inbox and read the message from Wellmark Web Security. Select the link in that message to verify that you read the message. This will launch a Web access login page in your browser.
7.	Type your Secure E-Message user ID and password, then select the OK button. An e-mail address validation page will return in your browser window.
8.	Select the link, Access your Secure E-Message inbox. A Secure E-Message login page will return in your browser window.
9.	Type your Secure E-Message user ID and password, then select the Log In button.
10.	View your secure e-message from Wellmark.

Note: Registering for secure e-message only does NOT give you access to all the BlueConnection® tools. However, if you later try to register for BlueConnection tools, the registration process is shortened. You may retain the user ID you set up, but it will be disabled for 7-10 days during the BlueConnection registration process.
