Charitable Contributions

It is our belief that the most important contribution we can make is to help improve the health of Iowans and South Dakotans.

Within the scope of our charitable contributions program, qualifying non-profit and health-related organizations may apply for and receive financial support from us for specific programs and events that may have a positive impact on health issues facing Iowans and South Dakotans.  Wellmark also allocates funds to civic and community projects and programs that preserve and enhance the quality of life within the communities we serve.

All requests for charitable contributions are considered on a quarterly basis by the Wellmark Corporate Contributions Committee.  Contribution requests for a specific event must be received a minimum of 120 days prior to the event date.
