Q. How do I apply for an open position?
A.
There are three ways to apply for an open position.

Select a job opening, and complete the on-line job application.

The Wellmark Employment Center provides individuals interested in employment opportunities at Wellmark a quiet, comfortable, confidential area to review job openings and complete an employment application. The center is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Q. Can I just send you my resume and be considered for any current or future positions for which I may be qualified?
A.
Resumes may be submitted for general consideration, however it is always best to review our Web site for a listing of current employment opportunities.

Q. Do I need to fill out an application to apply for a position?
A.
No, a resume is sufficient to begin the process. If you do not have a resume, you may use our resume builder located on our Web site to express your interest for employment with Wellmark. Prior to interviewing for a position you will be asked to complete an employment application.

Q. Do I need to fill out an application or submit a resume every time I want to apply for a position?
A.
No. You will be able to update your candidate profile on our Web site to indicate your interest in specific job openings.

Q. Can I apply for more than one position?
A.
Yes. By applying on the Web site, you can submit your resume for as many positions you feel qualified for and are interested in.

Q. How long does it take to fill a position?
A
. The length of time to fill a position may vary.

Q. When can I expect to hear anything about the position and/or my application?
A.
When you apply for a position online, you will receive an immediate e-mail confirmation that your application and/or resume has been received. Due to the large volume of inquiries received, we will contact only those individuals that possess the qualifications and skills in which the position requires. If you do not hear from us, please continue to review our Web site for other positions that become available at www.wellmark.com.

Q. How do I know you received my application/resume?
A.
When you apply on-line, you will receive immediate notification that your resume has been received.

Q. The position I applied for no longer appears on the web site, www.wellmark.com. Does this mean the position has been filled?
A.
If the position is no longer on the web site one of the following things have occurred:

  • The interview process has begun and we are no longer accepting applications
  • The leader has decided not to fill the position
  • The position has been filled
