Blue Rx Preferred uses a tiered copayment structure to encourage your employees to use generic or lower-priced drugs. Employees have the lowest copay for generic drugs and higher copays for brand-name drugs.  

Blue Rx Preferred provides access to a large pharmacy network that includes both national retail chains and independent pharmacies. Using a network pharmacy helps employees save on their out-of-pocket costs. Employees also have the option to fill prescriptions via mail service.

*Blue Select and Blue Priority HRA use Blue Rx Preferred. Blue Priority HSA covers prescription drugs under the health plan.
