Standard COBRA Administration For Businesses with 20 or More Employees Our Standard COBRA administration services can help you save time, eliminate hassles, and ensure your employee benefit plans are consistent with current regulations. Standard COBRA administration is only available for Wellmark products.

We work directly with participants who elect COBRA coverage, including:

• Handling all premium billing and collection
• Sending rate change letters to participants
• Notifying COBRA-qualified beneficiaries of options during open enrollment or re-enrollment upon written request and timely receipt of necessary group paperwork
• Tracking eligibility and handling the required participant notification during the final 180 days of coverage 

We also:

• Provide COBRA notices to group administrators for distribution to covered employees and new enrollees, and to qualified beneficiaries at the time of a qualifying event
• Assist with COBRA questions and issues
• Provide COBRA election forms to group administrators for distribution at the time of a qualifying event
