Who can register for myWellmark?
All Wellmark members, including policyholders, spouses, and dependents.
How does registration work?
To ensure that your personal health information is protected, Wellmark uses a 2-step registration process:
Step 1: Create Your Account
You complete the registration form, create a user ID and password, and accept terms and conditions.
Step 2: Verify Your Identity
You verify your identify in one of 2 ways to ensure that only you have access to your personal health information (such as diagnosis information) :

You answer a few questions online to verify your identity. When you answer these questions correctly, you have access to all of your personal health information.
Wellmark partners with IDology, a leader in identity verification, for these questions. IDology provides these questions and they will verify the answers are correct. Only your score – not the questions nor the answers – is shared with us.
OR
- We mail a one-time PIN to your home address. Once you enter this PIN, you have access to your personal health information.

To ensure the highest level of protection for your personal information, you will be able to view and update your information after 7 days if you registered using the identity verification quiz.
During those 7 days, a confirmation letter will be sent to you. If you did create the account, you don’t need to do anything. If you did not create the account, call our technical support group (EC Solutions) at 1-800-407-0267.

Online Identify Verification Quiz
How does the online identify verification quiz work?
We ask you a few questions to verify your identity. Answering these questions gives you immediate access to all of your personal information.
Wellmark partners with IDology, a leader in identity verification, for these questions. IDology provides these questions and they will verify the answers are correct. Only your score – not the questions nor the answers – is shared with us.
How does Wellmark get my financial, address, and other personal information? Why do you have that information?
Wellmark does not have that data. IDology mines hundreds of public databases to access thousands of data sources containing billions of public records to validate an ID.
During the registration process, the questions that are presented to you come from IDology and their databases. Those questions and answers do not come from Wellmark. Wellmark does not know what the questions are, nor do we know what the correct answers are. IDology verifies the answers are correct and lets Wellmark know that you’ve passed.
Some of the questions are about my financial history. Is my ability to get insurance dependent on my credit history or FICO score?
- No, your ability to get health insurance has nothing to do with your FICO score. Your credit rating is not a factor taken into account in calculating your premium.
- Questions are never generated from your credit report.
- Neither Wellmark, nor our vendor IDology, pull your credit report to generate these questions.
One-Time PIN
What does a PIN do?
The PIN helps ensure that only you can access your personal health information. If you verify your identity using the PIN process, Wellmark sends a one-time PIN to the home address you have on file with Wellmark. Once you successfully enter your PIN, you will have full access to your personal health information and tools, including detailed claim information and prescription records.
Why do I have to use the PIN letter? Why can’t I take the online identity verification quiz?
There are a few reasons why we may not be able to verify your identify through the online quiz:
- You are a minor
- You used to have a secure online account with us, and asked us to delete it
- Maybe you missed too many questions
- There may not be enough public data about you to generate sufficient questions
I haven’t received my PIN yet, but the Web site asks me for it when I log in.
Choose the link called Continue without Entering PIN. This will allow you to access your tools and information without entering your PIN.
How do I enter my PIN?
Each time you log in to www.wellmark.com with the user ID and password you chose during registration, you will be prompted to enter your PIN. Once you have successfully entered your PIN, you will no longer need your PIN.
Do I need to keep my PIN?
You only need to enter your PIN one time. After you have successfully entered your PIN, you will have full access to all your tools and information with your user ID and password and will no longer need your PIN.
I haven’t received the letter with my PIN and it’s been more than 10 days since I registered.
Call the EC Solutions Assistance Center at 1-800-407-0267 to ensure the address on file with Wellmark is correct. Keep in mind that the letter is sent to the address on file for the policyholder.
If you know the address on file with Wellmark is correct, you may request a new PIN:
- Log in to Wellmark.com with your user name and password
- Choose the Request a New PIN link on the PIN entry screen
- Select the Send Me a New PIN button and Wellmark will send you a new PIN
I lost the letter with my PIN.
Request a new PIN using the following steps:
- Log in to Wellmark.com with your user name and password
- Choose the Request a New PIN link on the PIN entry screen
- Select the Send Me a New PIN button and Wellmark will send you a new PIN
Registration Issues
When I try to register I get an error message that says "Our records show that you have already registered."
If you previously registered for Wellmark.com and do not remember your user ID or password, you can use the Forgot User ID or Password? option to have your user ID and temporary password e-mailed to you.
If you did not previously register or are unable to retrieve your user ID or password, please contact the EC Solutions Assistance Center at 1-800-407-0267 for assistance.
I tried to register using my current zip code, but I received an error message that it does not match.
You must use the zip code on file for the policyholder. If you are the policyholder but still receive an error message that your zip code does not match, please call the EC Solutions Assistance Center at 1-800-407-0267 to ensure Wellmark has the correct address on file for you.
Forgot User ID/Password
I registered but forgot my password.
You can use the Forgot User ID or Password? option to have a temporary password e-mailed to you.
I registered but forgot my User ID.
You can use the Forgot User ID or Password? option to have your user ID e-mailed to you.
Access to My Account
I am no longer (or will no longer be) an active Wellmark member. How long will my information be available to me online after I am no longer an active member?
You have access to your information on Wellmark.com for 90 days after your policy terminates.
