If you're a Medicare Supplement member and did not recieve a new identification card in 2009, you'll receive a new one starting in June 2010.

In December of 2008, Wellmark began issuing new member identification cards with a slightly different look. The changes were made to create greater standardization among all Blue Plans. 

What's different about the new cards?

• The Customer Service number is located on the back of the card instead of the front.
• The information on the back of the card is reorganized to help locate key information more quickly.

Other members may also receive a new ID card if Wellmark’s records indicate that an updated ID card was not sent in 2009. In the meantime, continue to present your existing cards.
