Mail Service Prescriptions

Depending on your pharmacy plan, you may be able to save time and money by using mail service to order medications you take regularly.*

 

 

Walgreens Mail Service provides Wellmark’s mail order services. To order your medication by mail:

  • Ask your doctor to write out 2 prescriptions:
    • One for a short-term supply (e.g., 30 days) that you can fill immediately at a participating retail pharmacy
    • The other for the maximum days’ supply allowed by your plan (e.g., 90 days) with as many as three refills (if appropriate) to mail to Walgreens Mail Service
  • Use one of the following methods to submit the Mail Service Pharmacy order form  (485KB):
    • Complete the Registration and Prescription Order Form section and mail with your prescription. You can also register by calling Walgreens Mail Service customer service toll-free at 1-866-611-5961.
      OR
    • Fill out your information on the Prescriber Fax Order section and ask your doctor to complete and fax the form. 
  • Visit Walgreens Mail Service  to refill prescriptions online and to check when your prescriptions have shipped.

* Not all pharmacy plans have mail service benefits. Please check your benefits certificate, coverage manual, or policy to see if you have mail service benefits.
